If I’m pregnant what medications can I take?

Ultimately our goal is to prevent you from getting sick during pregnancy. We strongly encourage the flu vaccine if you are pregnant during the flu season. We offer the flu vaccine in our office for all pregnant patients. If you develop a sore throat, stuffy nose, cough, headache, or general body aches of a cold or flu there are some over the counter remedies that are safe. Tylenol is safe to take as directed for headaches, fevers, and general body aches. Sudafed as directed is good for a stuffy nose. For a cough, Robitussin DM or any cough drops are safe. If you have any questions about medications do not hesitate to contact the office either by phone or through the Follow My Health patient portal.

Are children welcome?
